the need is great. The volunteers are few.
Building homes, schools and stoves requires a huge amount of person-power. Fortunately we have a small army of paid locals who are eager to work to support their families and do their part to help their neighbors.
But it takes more, and funds can only go so far.
That's why we turn to outside volunteers who can spend a week or two doing manual labor or doing whatever it takes to get the jobs done.
